World Class Record Breaker BoomBoxHead

BoomBoxHead is an original character of mine that I used for artworks and t-shirt designs but after becoming friends with Matt Hawkins and being inspired by his awesome work, I reimagined Boomboxhead as a papertoy. And this is the result...

I have to admit, it was a lot of time designing, cutting, pasting and tweaking, but it was a ton of fun and totally worth it. So much so that I have already other designs in the works. If you like this guy, then swing on by my etsy shop to purchase a PDF of BoomBoxHead.

As of right now, we do plush toy in the works, but we are still working out some of the details out. But when it does, I will make sure to post it up here.

Until next time, enjoy...

IF: Contagious

Working with kids is no joke. When one kid comes down with something wicked, often times it can end up laying out the rest of the school, even the adults. So yeah, I make sure to wash my hands- a lot.

Due to time constraints, I decided to go with this concept of Illustration Friday's "contagious" theme. I knew that this concept was probably going to be beaten to the ground by some of the other artists, so I thought I would put a little twist to it. What do you think? Here is a close up of the kids.

If I had the time or the luxury, I was going to do a short 3 or 4 panel strip of some random guy at a cubicle sitting in front of his computer and yawning. Then the next thing you know, a sea of arms are seen peaking out of the tops of the cubicles behind him, all yawning too. Simply contagious.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy...
